About

Hi, I'm Gabby. I use she/her pronouns. I'm an Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. As a woman of colour and Psychotherapist, my identity and life experiences provide me with the knowledge and intention to provide a space that is collaborative, caring, and non-assuming.Whether personally or professionally, I wholeheartedly believe that all people are valuable and powerful inherently - that there is a deep knowing, an inner wise being, in all of us. At times it can be challenging to access this inner wisdom, especially when barriers such as, racism, systemic oppression, and trauma, stand in our way.My goal and hope is to honour your stories and your challenges with care, curiosity, and deep compassion, while steering clear of being ‘an expert’ of your life and choices.

Workshops

I facilitate group workshops designed to support wellbeing, creativity, and connection. Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the group, and may include art-based activities, reflective practices, and practical tools for self-care.

Art as Therapy Workshops

The act of art-making itself as a therapeutic tool. Through creative expression (such as drawing, painting, or other hands-on activities), the focus is on the process of creating, rather than interpreting or analyzing. This allows art-making to become a mindful and restorative practice in its own right. No prior art experience is needed.

Themed Workshops

Workshops can also be designed around a specific theme to meet the unique needs of your group. This may look like, managing workplace stress, exploring identity, or fostering team connection.
